Middle East International School was founded in 1998, to serve the educational needs of the expatriate student community of Riyadh. Serving grades KGs to 12, the school aims to provide a high standard of education to a multicultural, multilingual group of students. Since its inception, the school has emerged as one of the leading educational institutions in Riyadh.

Middle East International School places the unique worth of individual at the highest level of concern. We value qualities of inventiveness, sensitivity, humor, persistence and intellectual traits.

The faculty and staff are committed to the following:
1. To encourage each student to take a leading active and caring role in our changing world.
2. To support students in achieving their academic potential, and developing their overall personality.
3. To nourish the minds of students in a safe, friendly and caring environment.
4. To prepare students for the external exams of SAT and IGCSE, at the end of their school years.

The school has a challenging academic curriculum through which children are inspired to develop open and inquiring minds, a rich extra-curricular program in which every child is encouraged to participate. In the higher secondary level, performance in the external exams, SAT conducted by College Board, and IGCSE, and IAL exams conducted by Cambridge and Edexcel boards respectively is considered very important as evidence of the performance of our students.

Our school believes that there is more to education than this. Each student is treated as an individual and cared for within a supportive environment where both the staff and students feel the responsibility for each other’s general welfare.

The school involves all stakeholders – students, teachers, parents and administration in achieving the success of our goals, and ultimately preparing the students for university education in different universities worldwide.
